Always held the second Saturday and Sunday in September. The Flax Scutching Festival features descendants of the Ligonier Valley pioneers recreating the art of making linen from the flax plant. The festival includes detailed demonstrations of making linen from flax, pioneer crafts, antique farm equipment, hay rides, great food, wagon train and Civil War encampments, live entertainment and a staged Indian Raid.
